Raymond Jones Stadium
|
The first depicts the home side of the stadium. The second is of the plaque on the field house. The stadium opened in 1954 and the field house was constructed in 1955. As you can tell by the plaque, it was formally named in 1957. Cement bleachers replaced the old wooden ones in 1976 and the home/visitors sides were switched. There have been some renovations over the years, but it’s essentially been the same for the last 30 years. RJMS does not really have its own address. It’s situated between the original Berrien High (710 N. Davis Street) and newer one (500 Smith Avenue) in Nashville. |
